About the March of Dimes

"Our mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a fighting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight."

Johnston County March of Dimes Benefit Dinner

"A Black Tie Affair"

Purpose:

The purpose of this dinner is to gain monetary and personal support of the March of Dimes organization through Johnston County.

Many babies die everyday because they are born prematurely and lack the urgent medical care that they need to survive. With support from generous donors and sponsors, March of Dimes is able to assist with the medical care and support of premature babies to give them the best of care.  

Location: Johnston Health Medical Mall 

Time: To be announced

Cost:

The event cost $20 per person. Expenses will cover meal cost, venue space, and other miscellaneous expenses. All collected proceeds and donations will go directly to the March of Dimes Organization.

You must RSVP but you may pay at the the door.

Attire:

Ladies: The required attire is black slacks or skirt with a white blouse. A jacket is optional.

Gentlemen: The required attire is black slacks with a white shirt and a black tie. A jacket is optional.

Miscellaneous Information:   

  • Various speakers will be from the March of Dimes organization and the Princeton High School FBLA chapter.
  • There will be a silent Auction held during the dinner.  You may make bids before the event and during dinner. The highest bidders will be announced at the end of the program.

  • You may pledge to give any extra donations before or after the event.
